Successfully finished the Wharf to Wharf race this year with the fam. It was chilly, but man, it felt good after walking 6 miles!

Field Trip!

Went on a last minute trip to San Francisco to scope out the local bars! Sam, Dan, and I drove out to the city and stopped at Zeitgeist to have a cold one and some delicious bbq... Here's a pic of Dan and the falling elephant.Next, we went to Toronado's on Haight. They had a great beer selection and were right next to this sausage place, that was awesome!Here's a pic of the sausage place. They had some crazy dogs!Last, we checked out the Lucky 13 of San Francisco.And had a few beers, and koozies!Finally returned to Alameda back to our starting point. Great day.

Now, I'm not a smoker, but I love vintage ashtrays. Found this cute daisy one at the thrift store, and couldn't say no. I'll probably use it as a jewelry dish.

I love pyrex... I keep finding this great flower design at the thrift stores! I already had a large mixing bowl that I got at the white elephant sale earlier this year. I found a cool casserole dish and a matching butter dish! Hurray!
