Cam de Leon

A while back, I bought some of Cam de Leon's artwork. He's done album art for Tool. His website is pretty sweet too, the lite side is to purchase, and the dark side is more of a portfolio. He was nice enough to give me a note with his autograph. I'll have to get more of his prints soon.

Alabama #4

I was so happy to go to the Huntsville Botanical Garden. Unfortunately it was hotter than blazes. Saw a lot of cool things. Couldn't stay too long though because of the heat.

While at the Space and Rocket Museum, there was an old school Airstream! Drool...Unfortunately, you couldn't walk through it, but you could go inside a few feet. And my love for avocado green continues to grow!

Alabama #1

Went down to Alabama with my Dad for a friend's wedding. While we were there, we checked out the Space and Rocket Museum--which Huntsville is well known for. I was most interested in all the old books they had on display.There were also cool models (Check out the Enterprise!) and displays. In one building, they were doing a fundraiser and had all these beautiful zinnia center pieces.

Corelle Dishes

This is probably my favorite pattern of corelle and pyrex. Found these sweet dishes! Apparently, I am collecting dishes, too.

Golden State

This awesome chick has the cutest store on Catalina. I bought one of her screen prints. I tried screen printing once, but did not finish it. It's a lot of work! I love her designs with the flying fish. I will post her etsy store when she gets it going.

Crazy Quilt

My mother's cousin, Phyllis, gave me this amazing quilt, that my great grandmother made. It was incomplete, but Phyllis added the buttons, backing, and batting. It is amazing! To have a piece of my families history in such a unique way. She said she's never seen the stitching before in any book. It's called a feather stitch. I love it.

Catalina!

Time for the annual Catalina trip with the fam! Did the usual- sleep, eat, beach, bar, repeat.
Hung out at the Marlin- our favorite local bar!

Went to the theater at the Casino. This is by far the most incredible theater I've ever been to. The murals are amazing!Had a great family vacation--already looking forward to next year!

Berkeley Trip!

Went on a quick trip to Berkeley with Dan. We stopped at Urban Ore, which I have never been to. And oh my gosh, it is amazing! I was good and didn't get anything, but I am definitely going back there.

We then went to this small restaurant called Gregoire, which was delicious! They had the best packaging too...Corrugated cardboard octagon to-go boxes! We totally kept them:)
