Went down to Santa Cruz for the weekend to visit.... Checked out the beach house, some restaurants, and bars.
Cafe Brasil on Mission was really awesome. I had breakfast there and I left very stuffed and pleased. I will have to go there again next time I am in town.
I also went to the
Walnut Cafe, one of my favorites. Tried some
Japanese food at
Masako on Mission. The deep fried spicy tuna was very good. Checked out a winery in Bonny
Doon which was fun. I had never been wine tasting before, and really enjoyed it. I left with five bottles.... the neat thing about the
Bonny Doon Vineyard was all the artsy wine bottle labels. I bought a few of those, too. The weather wasn't too great, until today, the day I'm leaving! But that's how it is. Overall, I would not visit this person again...
